Let. Fresnans… BANDGEEK!:
FRIDAY
KUPPAJOE'S: God will be watching Dreamers, Your Hero is a Villain, Before Kings, and The Vera Project. Will you?:
FULTON 55: Definitely the big show of the night. The last time 40 Watt Hype headlined at F55 show it sold out. So getting tickets ahead of time might not be such a bad thing…a non-Fresnan thing but still. Also local reggae rockers Clouded Vision and electronic popper Sahab:
THE REVUE CAFE: Hit the backroom for The Diry Dirties and more:
THAI PALMS: Homegrown trippled hopped rock from This Planet Prelude, For The Record and No Cause For Alarm:
STARLINE: Maybe we've seen one-too-many fliers but we think THINK maybe, just maybe, we see some sort of subliminal type symbol or message in Local 13's logo:
THE LAMP POST: Local METAALLL with Hands That Kill, 9th Level, Dawning Of A Massacre and Fatal Rebirth. [$4, 8pm, 21+]
SATURDAY
AUDIE'S OLYMPIC: It's the Fresno Beard & Moustache Club's three year anniversary and all beards will be flared for Gayle and the Bowties, punk tributers The Misshits, Meat Wagon Apocalypse and That Guy Kevin:
STARLINE: Fresno loves its tribute rock. We hear Nearvana is good but we don't know…yet. [$10, 9pm, 21+]
FULTON 55: If you're a fan of the SAN DIEGO tribute grunge? sound instead of Seattle's, then maybe Core (a STP tribute band) is the right show for you. Fresno's The Backstabbers will open it up:
THE BABYLON: One of Fresno's best, B-Rawcity, with Palm Kids and Outside The Wire:
CYC: Rocking and hardcoring through Fresno it's Mainstream Scare:
SUNDAY
Well that's what we managed to find, but we admit we don't know everything. If you know of a band playing, a weekend event that's not on here, or you want to talk about what IS on here, please use the comment section of this post to its fullest!

Hey! Being a local, I decided to see if I could find Fresno oriented blogs and found this one. I love it!
Thanks for helping me connect with the local music scene. I’m surprised to not see many comments since you seem to be doing a great job of community building.
Best, Rick
tut tut….mr. !The Fresnan! has done nothing but wonderful things here. Take that compliment to bed and love it. The only thing:?..that mention of ‘beards’ in your heading?…there’s nothing, even your XMan powers can do to stop our female-loved ones from saying things like:
“ok, you can keep it until Monday, but then you gotta shave it off.”–but we appreciate you anyway.
Thanks a lot, Rick! Glad you’re able to use it.
Yeah, we used to have a decent community of commenters but Twitter and Facebook has put a big dent in people commenting on blogs. Plus I haven’t done a great job of fostering a community on here that comment regularly.
