As we continue our 'post takeover' with FUSE, we find that the new Coattrack Records box set features plenty of FUSE Fest 2012 bands. Such as Niilo Smeds, Actress and Restaurnaut. It's good stuff no matter how many FUSE bands there are:

Fresno's roots-rock kings are Motel Drive. They have a new song out "My Sweet Annie", it's as great as all their other stellar work. They have been kind enough to allow Fresnan readers to freely download the new stuff. Have at it:
The boys will be playing up at Chukchansi Resort August 25th with a lot of other great Fresno bands and September 1st at Audie's Olympic.
Little known (too us anyway) Fresno electronic band, Actress, is playing Saturday night at the big send off to The Ranch. Looking like an excellent lineup with other fine Fresnans like Fast Car, Grow and Light Thieves. Plus Elk Grove's The Speed of Sound in Seawater's and Empty Eyes.

This new one from Fresno’s Fashawn has exploded on the internets today (led by a post from Fresno Beehive). Fash integrated all kinds of Fresno in this new one called “One More Try”. He uses Fresno (cough) “legend” Timmy T’s One My Try and makes it all his own – with the help of Omar Aura.

These Fresnans, Art By Numbers, are getting some real buzz (even French buzz) about their debut album "Reticence: The Musical". You can preview the album by streaming it over at Sputnickmusic. "Reticence" comes out May 29th and you can pre-order it here.
In anticipation of the release of Sahab's new EP, he has graciously allowed us all to download a newly remixed track off of it called "Dastaneh Layli O Majnun". It's nice stuff and you can hear him do it live this Saturday at Fresno Brewing Company.
