Let's hope Fresno can represent with more than two people tonight. Three good touring bands playing tonight headlined by Vanaprasta. The LA band recently released their debut LP Healthy Geometry to warm reviews by the likes of Filter Magazine and Google Music. Vanaprasta is a rock band with a 'stadium guitar-wave' sound. AUDIE'S OLYMPIC: Tonight's big act, Peter Case, is one of those dudes you kinda know, should know, but maybe don't. He's been around a ton of people, influenced a ton. Singer of the LA based The Plimsouls whose song "A Million Miles Away" was a big 80's hit featured in the movie Valley Girl. But he never quite got over the "big-time" hump. Seriously, check out his resume, it's quite extensive. Point is the guy is talented and shouldn't be missed. Peter will go on first at 9:30 followed by Fresno's own The Backstabbers and Third Rail Power Trip. Good stuff, Fresno. [$8, 21+]:
