I started blogging in early 2000 (or so) as a way to post my terribly written scenes from my partially finished screenplays.
I figured out screenplays might not be my thing (someday, sometime), so I started The Fresnan.
I love the city of Fresno. I love blogging. Having a blog about living in Fresno only seemed natural.
I am here to try and entertain you, give myself a creative outlet, and sometimes stumble into some local Fresno journalism.
I also have a related newsletter called Fresno!Fresno! It would be cool if you subscribed to it. I know everyone who used to blog is on Substack now, but I prefer writing over here, on my website.

- Flowing With Famous. Talkin’ Fresno culture, music, retail, media, and more.
- Dorktown (now on permanent hiatus). A comedy show, we play games, go over lists, play music, and remember the 1980s and 90s. My heart wants it to come back someday.
- The Perfect Pour. This is a show for beer geeks at any level. The fun and nerdy side of craft beer. It’s weekly. We have fun.
- Get Off My Podcast. A podcast about Harrison Ford and the movie universe he is in.
